The PERRIN Turbo inlet hose is larger diameter that the OEM part and much smoother which is what makes the part make free up some HP and allows the turbo to spool quicker! A very important feature is this part doesn't effect the Air Fuel Ratio. Which is important to keeping your EVO running safe.
Above is a test they did showing what the PERRIN Turbo inlet hose! The OEM part is a small diameter rubber hose with corrugated sections (allows for flexing) doesn't make for the smoothest air flow to the turbo. Its obvious to see why the Perrin inlet hose makes more power and makes the turbo spool quicker.
